Children’s Special Health Care

Children’s Special Health Care Services (CSHCS) is a program that helps provide financial assistance to children (and some adults) with special health care needs.

Services

Services for this program includes:
Payment of specialty medical bills
Coverage of co-pays or deductibles on specialty medical bills
Coordination of services from multiple providers
Coordination of health benefits
Education on specialty doctors, clinics and hospitals

Eligibility

Children ages 20 and under who have a qualifying medical
U.S. citizens (Some legal immigrants qualify)
Michigan residents
Have no health insurance
Meet income guidelines
