    In cooperation with the Michigan Family Independence Agency and the Michigan Department of Community Health Environmental Health staff conduct inspections at adult foster care facilities, child care facilities, youth camps, and foster homes.  These facilities are required by law to be licensed. Facilities are inspected to ensure sanitary conditions and safety.
