The Health Department provides confidential and affordable birth control, testing for sexually-transmitted diseases (STD’s) and family planning information by appointment.

Services for this program includes:
Education and information on sexually transmitted disease (STD)
Pap smears
Pregnancy Testing
Contraceptives
STD testing and treatment
Eligibility
Anyone who wants to prevent pregnancy or be tested for sexually transmitted disease is eligible.
Fees
Fees are based on a sliding fee schedule following a financial assessment. Donations accepted.

Q: Are services confidential?
A: Yes. No information will be released to anyone without your consent unless required or allowed by state law.
Q: Will my parents find out?
A: Parental permission is not required and no contact will be made to your home if that is your choice
Q: What if I can’t afford to pay?
A: The Health Department will not refuse you service if you cannot pay.
Q: Do I need to have a pap smear?
A: Yes, every 12 months, or sooner if your last pap was abnormal.
