Tobacco use is the number one cause of preventable death and disease


   The Tobacco Reduction Coordinator works in collaboration with the American Cancer Society, American Lung Association, American Heart Association, MSU Extension, Michigan Municipal League, and the Michigan Department of Community Health-Center for Health Promotion, Tobacco Section to reduce the use of tobacco and promote smoke-free workplaces and restaurants..

Services

Services for this program includes:

“Freedom From Smoking” clinics
“Tobacco Blues for Youth” program
Tobacco retailer compliance checks
Tobacco-free schools initiative
Smoke-free workplace and restaurant policy development

Eligibility

Adults, youth, worksites and restaurants that are interested in tobacco reduction.

Fees

Freedom From Smoking Clinic materials cost $25.00/person
